DesignYatra and Dharavi Rocks in Goa – Karsh was invited to the DesignYatra Conference held in Goa to be a guest speaker on the topic of collaboration. The event was concluded with a performance by Kale and the junk drum collective Dharavi Rocks.
Beats Antique – Kismat (Karsh Kale Remix) - Beats Antique release their Creature Carnival album and tour to huge acclaim. The release includes a remix of a track featuring Alam Khan called Kismat which is remixed by Kale. This is old school Asian Massive
Gwanjiu World Music Festival – Korea – Karsh brought the Collective to Korea to headline the Gwajiu World Music Festival. The Collective featured Ajay Prasanna on bansuri, Max ZT on dulcimer, and John Shannon and Priya Darshini on vocals. Karsh also presented a workshop for local college level music students before the performance.
Warren Cuccurulo and Sultan Khan – Lonely Man’s Plea (Karsh Kale Remix) - Karsh got to collaborate and remix 2 of his musical idols from this duet album called Masters. Warren Cuccucrulo is a virtuoso guitarist who is best known for his work with Frank Zappa, Durran Durran and Missing Persons. Ustad Sultan Khan remains one of the main voices of sarangi of the 20th and 21st centuries. The album and remix was released on Six Degrees Records.
WOMAD Festival - Karsh Kale joined Salim Sulaiman for a co-billed once in a life time collaboration concert at the famed WOMAD festival in Charlton Park England. The concert featured unreleased material and obscure compositions from Salim Sulaiman and Kale. The ensemble was lucky enough to perform in the presence of their idol and festival creator Peter Gabriel.
Sony’s Project Resound culminates with a song a video produced by Karsh Kale featuring Ankita Joshi on vocals, Sabir Khan on sarangi and Warren Mendonsa on guitars and production.
Karsh accompanied hammer dulcimer master Max ZT on NYC Radio as part of the 24 hour non stop classical music radio concert Raagas Live Festival. Other artists included Ashish Khan, Krishna Bhatt and many more.
Karsh participated in an online seminar called The Power Of Music where he talked about his musical journey and what it takes of the human spirit to find and use inspiration. Other experts included Alanis Morrisette , Hassan Hakmoun, Freqnasty and others.
Residency at Joes Pub / Collective Sessions - Karsh returned to his old stomping ground Joe’s Pub where his original Futureproof events were held in the 90s for a bi weekly summer residency that featured completley different live ensemble each session that featured some of NY’s finest including Tim Lefevre ( Tedeshki Trucks Band) on bass , Monica Dogra , John Shannon, Rajeev Madella , Chris Buono and more.
Karsh Kale is featured in the May 2014 edition of Score Magazine as the Star of the Month.
Karsh Kale was invited to participate in the annual Red Bull Academy Round Robin Jam at NYC’s Town Hall . The Round Robin Jam is\ a group of artists spontaneously interacting for a nonstop 2 hr jam that culminated in a grand crecendo. Electric Tabla Nights - Karsh began a summer long residency at the Brooklyn Bowl featuring impromtu live electro sets led by Kale as well as DJ sets featuring guests and residence Zakhm, Monica Dogra, Max ZT, Brooklyn Shanti, Shiva Soundsystem and more .
Tandanu – Indian Ocean is a 7 song album of collaborations . Behne Do is a song that Kale collaborated on. The album also features collabs w Shankar Mahadevan, Shubha Mudgul, Selva Ganesh, Vishwa Mohan Bhatt, Vishal Dadlani and Kumlesh Iyer.

Karsh collaborates on a song and video inspired by his time in the city of Mumbai as part of the Project Resound web series by Sony.
Karsh’s album “Breathing Under Water” with Anoushka Shankar was displayed as part of an exhibition celebrating the impact that indians have had on American culture at the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C. Karsh also was invited to DJ at the gala opening of the exhibition.
Karsh was joined by sitar maestro Ravi Chary and flute genius Ajay Prasanna for a classical fusion trio concert at the Taj Palace in New Delhi in an event honoring and hosting golf legend Tiger Woods.
