Karsh Kale has been hired by Universal / China to produce an album with one of their most celebrated electronic pop artists Sa Dingding. She has been compared to artists like Bjork and Imogen Heap and sings in Mandarin, Sanskrit and Tibetan and has explored many styles of electronic and ambient music. The album production is scheduled to take place in NY, Beijing and India over the next few months.

Signature Expressions - Karsh performed and acted as mentor to two bands as part of the Signature Expressions mentor web series. The series culminated with a finale show at Mahalaxmi Race Coarse in Mumbai.

DesignYatra and Dharavi Rocks in Goa – Karsh was invited to the DesignYatra Conference held in Goa to be a guest speaker on the topic of collaboration. The event was concluded with a performance by Kale and the junk drum collective Dharavi Rocks.
Beats Antique – Kismat (Karsh Kale Remix) - Beats Antique release their Creature Carnival album and tour to huge acclaim. The release includes a remix of a track featuring Alam Khan called Kismat which is remixed by Kale. This is old school Asian Massive
Gwanjiu World Music Festival – Korea – Karsh brought the Collective to Korea to headline the Gwajiu World Music Festival. The Collective featured Ajay Prasanna on bansuri, Max ZT on dulcimer, and John Shannon and Priya Darshini on vocals. Karsh also presented a workshop for local college level music students before the performance.
Warren Cuccurulo and Sultan Khan – Lonely Man’s Plea (Karsh Kale Remix) - Karsh got to collaborate and remix 2 of his musical idols from this duet album called Masters. Warren Cuccucrulo is a virtuoso guitarist who is best known for his work with Frank Zappa, Durran Durran and Missing Persons. Ustad Sultan Khan remains one of the main voices of sarangi of the 20th and 21st centuries. The album and remix was released on Six Degrees Records.
WOMAD Festival - Karsh Kale joined Salim Sulaiman for a co-billed once in a life time collaboration concert at the famed WOMAD festival in Charlton Park England. The concert featured unreleased material and obscure compositions from Salim Sulaiman and Kale. The ensemble was lucky enough to perform in the presence of their idol and festival creator Peter Gabriel.
